FanBet is operated by Remote Tradie Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Account details: your email address and login credentials, managed by our authentication provider (Supabase). Profile details: your username and date of birth (used to confirm you are 18 or older). Activity: your fantasy bets, virtual balance, XP, challenges and rewards inside the app. Diagnostics: crash reports and basic device information (via Sentry) when the app encounters an error. FanBet uses virtual currency only — we never collect payment card or bank details.
We use your information to operate your account, run the fantasy game (placing and settling bets, leaderboards, seasons and rewards), confirm you are old enough to play, keep the platform fair and secure, and diagnose crashes and bugs.
We share information only with the service providers that host and run FanBet: Supabase (authentication and database), Fly.io (application hosting) and Sentry (error reporting). We do not sell your personal information. Some providers may store data outside Australia; we use reputable providers with appropriate safeguards.
Your data is stored in managed cloud infrastructure protected by access controls. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to close your account and delete your personal information. Contact us at fanbetau@gmail.com. We may retain limited records where needed for platform integrity or legal reasons.
We send service messages about your account and in-app announcements. If push notifications are enabled on your device, you can turn them off at any time in your device settings.
If you have a privacy concern, contact us first at fanbetau@gmail.com and we will respond as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of FanBet after an updated policy is posted constitutes acceptance of the changes.
